A colleague you are fond of has just presented to the whole team a project he worked on for weeks. You find it shaky: the core idea is weak and several choices seem bound to fail. After the meeting he comes over, still on edge, and asks you very directly what you thought of it. You can tell he is hoping to be reassured, and that a misplaced word would wound him. No one else will ever know what you answered. You hesitate for a second before speaking. What do you tell him?
