Link (Ocarina of Time)
The forest child a legend was waiting for, who never says what he thinks of it.
video game · 1998
Raised in the forest among the Kokiri, Link is the only child without a fairy, until the day the forest's guardian sends him one and tells him a task awaits him. Princess Zelda saw him in a dream before they met. He accepts every role he is given, and the game almost never has him say what he thinks of it: the player picks a few of his replies and lends him their choices. He can therefore be placed only by what he does, and with caution.
